There were a number of cars that were given M knobs, but certainly were not M cars. This was also the case with steering wheel emblems, among other things. It is not a feature that is purely reserved for the M-division of vehicles

I love my BMW it rocks I have the 3 series. It is a 08 but lately its been giving me nothing but problems its not even a bmw anymore the ride feels cheap. LOL I always get service done on time, got the tires changed but still same thing. Took it to the BMW dealer they said "Its normal its suppose to do that" (I dont think so) If I wash the car the next day it dosent want to start. Its a problem from the month I got it. The ride got cheap after 7,000 miles of driving. Please help me

I've got both, a brandnew 320d and a brandnew A3 : There's not one single argument for the Audi left. Breaks, Outlook, Sounds, costs for taxes and assurances, litres per 100 kms...everytime the BMW ist better.

I just think it's sad - the E36 looked so handsome, the E46 just sublime; perfect from whatever angle viewed from... then Bangle seemed to drop his crayon. At least the E90 is starting to look a little better for the facelift, but boy - what a screw up!

interestingly, the e36 coupe IS a four-door with only two doors. The coupe actually has a slightly longer wheelbase and longer overall length than the four door. Park both an e36 coupe and sedan side by side and you can't tell a difference.

I miss my 1999 323i. I traded it in for a 2001 525i because I wanted to "upgrade" and plus I wanted an auto trans. (even though the 323 was fun) It was a huge mistake. The 525i costs me thousands in maint....and my 323 was almost paid off and ran perfect! Argh!..Oh well I currently drive a Grand Cherokee and love it. Its more reliable than both of them.

No Im not kidding. I've had my Jeep for over a year and all I had to replace was the battery. I had both BMW's for under a year each and had many more problems.

I AM NOT ON HERE TO BASH BMW SO QUIT GETTING DEFENSIVE. I love bimmers but they suck on maint. Plus I love my Jeep because it goes anywhere. With BMW's you have to get your kicks ONroad and worry about cops.

Of course you are always going to have crappy models of many cars regardless of what country.. But not in my experience with Amer. cars. I also had a Ford Explorer for 5 years and only had to replace the brake master cylinder. I LOVE EUROPEAN CARS..their build quality and feel are top notch but the liberal bashing of American cars MUST STOP. Most of the time its inaccurate...and not all are gas guzzlers. Some have better mpg than Jap cars!

BMW 3 series is by far the best 4 me. The E30 was the best one IMO & so is the E90 but the E30 gave it a distinctive look. E36 & E46 we also cool but prefered the 46 slightly. I love BMW so much that I cant wait 2 drive one soon

They only show the E30 for one second (00:14-00:15), and a shitty one at that. That chassis was easily the most significant of all 3 series, and played a huge role in establishing BMW's standing today. Good commercial otherwise, but that oversight ruins it for me.

Right on, my daily driver '90 325i just rolled over 271,000 the other day. Original drivetrain. Runs and drives awesome, has never let me down. And I still get compliments on its looks on top of that.

The linkage that connects the drive shaft to the diff broke on mine @ 400,420 :( 80% of the drive train is original...she'll back on the rode pretty soon. Some cars are just timeless. The E30 is one of them.
