My favorite part of the video is during the Cleveland Williams fight. Now, granted Williams was shot so that fight wasn't that spectacular BUT there is a part where Ali is pounding away and Williams throws three jabs in a row and they all miss. Yeah, if you consider religous hypocrisy and recycled rhyming courageous and inspiring, then by all means, he's your guy. Anyone fed up with the "LOOK AT ME" athlete of today (i.e. Terrell Owens, Ron Artest, Barry Bonds) look no further than the grandaddy of them all--Mr. Ali. You're right, I probably couldn't beat Muhammad Ali in a fight. I won't cop to that but I will say this: I've never sided with any posistion the KKK took (Ali did), I've never cheated on my wife (Ali did on four seperate), and I've never used my religious beliefs as an excuse to live under a blanket of freedom while some poor son of a bitch fights in my place to defend them.

We lionize athletes today while forgetting that they are fallible. Ali was protected by the media and the real truth about him has never been told.
