Why are you not recording in HD ratio 16:9 (you are recording in obsolete 4:3 ratio) if the Logitech Pro 9000 is soo good ?

He was actually picked up along the banks of fatmando river. His native tongue isn't English. In fact, we had to train him much like you would train a dog to do ANYTHING... held a steak in front of him about 4 inches out of reach and made him read Dr. Seuss classics for 2 weeks straight. The sleep deprivation kept him from being TOO hungry so we wouldn't go through too many steaks.

It works well on Vista if you update the drivers, you'd need to click on the cam icon in the task bar and choose search for updates, the version you will get is 11.9 which is a much better driver. For some reason you cant get the 11.9 drivers from the Logitech site only the 11.8 version. Incidentally this cam works 'out of the box' with Ubuntu Linux or Linux Mint. The quality on Ubuntu is excellent but there is a laggy video frame rate which you cant seem to change.

This camera sucks. I han a vey old Logistech camera and I never had any problems while video chatting in Skype. Now with this camera, it does not work AT ALL!!! My PC has 2 GB of RAM, but as soon as I call someone and start video in Skype, everything just stops, Skype hangs on. What is the problem?

And also the HD video qyality doesn't work very good, only in the e-mail size you can move properly without lags.

hey guys, what software do you use to capture your videos? Was this vid made with the webcam? I tried a test capture but the video blurs when I move about. My PC is up to the job so need some advice.

should of listened as you said you are using the logitech cam

Work with your RightLight settings and play around with manual and auto focus. It's best to turn face tracking off as well. As far as the software we use, well, for the majority of the videos we put up on youtube, we just use the standard software that comes with the cam.
