The camera uses Dv Tapes, you can use a memory stick but i wouldnt

cause you get bette quality out of dv tapes. HDD is just easier to find your clips ;)

ha no problem, everything about the camera is awesome, most people complain about the menu scroll. They say its to small and hard to use but i have had not problems with it so far

well this camera has 3 rings: focus, zoom and iris. so he probably set all 3 of them manually :)
