Josh Ritter is absolutely one of the Good Men. His music/lyrics are amazing. Seeing him perform live is magical. Two hours of him playing just leaves you wanting more and more. Best live performance I've every seen....and its been 3 times. I will go see this man as long as he keeps singing.

Saw him in St. Louis a while back. After the show he stopped to say hi. Quick handshake and a "thanks for coming" for my wife and I but he chatted quite a while with our two kids. Really made them feel special. Took pictures with them that the boys still treasure. Took the time to answer questions and explain his insperation for some of the songs from Animal Years.

Anyone willing to take time and talk music with kids definately gets my vote!

i saw josh last night. the gig was amazing. the best gig i've ever been to and even better he hung out for at least 3 hours after just chatting to people and signing stuff. a true gentleman with an infectous smile.

haha almost a coincidence i went to one of his concerts last night, he just walked around during the pre-shows and talked to people and then after-wards he stayed to talk to everyone on the work crew and stuff, it was great. he sang for a fund raiser for his science teacher who has brain cancer.
