Hi Coltondion33, it shouldn't refuse to save the APN name because it's just a name. Just make sure you do not already have other APN settings saved with the same name

It's an o not the number 0 e.g. o2.co.uk:8002

For some reason its not saving the APN name. Also are the things in front of the 2s the letter O or the number 0?

Brilliant post, worked for my Galaxy S2 which had wiped it's settings.

O2 is my provider and after speaking to them prior to me inputting these settings they emailed their manual entry settings which are identical to these so I can confirm they are 100% correct.

By the way, where it says type 'password' that is what you type, don't enter own password, well I didn't and it worked.

@ bowest02 - did you type your own password in??

Try this, make sure your phone numbers do not have gaps e.g. 07766554433 (Not 07766 554433). If there are gaps the S2 will not recognise the number for MMS. I'm assuming you have a green tick where it says USE PACKET DATA in mobile network settings. Also make sure you do not leave gaps when entering APN settings.

Hi, , I have been trying to send / receive mom's mags on my O2 s2 for around 3 months noe. I have spoken to Samsung, O2 and used various apn. Settings decriminalizing the net, incl. Yours. All to no avail. I still cannot send or receive mms msgs. Any thoughts?
