Well I know Auslan, but that won't help will it? The Deaf have as many languages as the hearing, so my opinion, calm down! I couldn't communicate with you any better than I could communicate with someone who only spoke Greek - because I don't know YOUR sign language, and ASL is useless in Australia, you need Auslan, should I learn them all to respect you? oh and I used to work as a video relay officer here, but I still miss "respect" for you because I don't know ASL? damn can't win anywhere!
Damn straight! I love this! As a hearing person I learned in 101, if there's a Deaf person in the room - SIGN! Doesn't matter if you're not even directly talking to them, it's about inclusion and offering as equal an environment to the Deaf as possible. Your experience and frustration is one of the reasons I work my ass off daily to become fluent in ASL, and why I want to become an interpreter. Never stop ranting! cool video. You should make more teaching some sign, but go slowly for us ASL impaired and so that your camera can keep up with you.
