Adam has dropped several hints in various interviews that lead you to believe Brad is the one he speaks of that broke his heart and the only time he's been in love.

That very well could be.....I've never heard Adam really say who broke up with who, but he's made it pretty clear through interviews that his heart was broke and it really hurt.
