What a magnificent tune, by a wonderful band. Incredible photos too go along as well. My good mate and I saw these lads in Toronto many years ago. What a great!!! concert. This tune brings back so may fond memories. Thank-you for posting this video lukessummer.
I love Ireland so much. I went there first in May of 2010 and took a proper tour of the entire island. I went again last month and kicked around on my own and saw places like Donegal and Waterford in detail. Wonderful place, Ireland. I will go every year if possible.
Stunning photography. Could you please tell me what type of camera and lens you used? Also did you use film or is it a digital camera? I am new to photography and have not yet used or own a digital camera but would like to learn more about taking really good pictures. I am from the old school (using cameras that used 100 film or 400 film but when I can afford it would like to buy a digital camera.
1. Buy a new car. Well, if you saw my old Volvo, you would all agree this is #1. I drive 110 km every day to my job and back.
2. Go to Ireland. Well, as I said, look at my car and you'll agree with me, even if Ireland is such a lovely country. And, I shamefully admit, I've never been there in my 58 year old life. But I'll see an Dublin guy in December with his local "Irish" band. :)
Yep, I really like that song...seems like someone on YT has it played by bagpipes. Very moving tune. Great matrimony of song and views, my friend. That's not one of the Arans at 4:00 is it? Looks too green!

This song is like the story of my great`grandfather when he came from Ireland in the 1860`s. He had a similar voyage.

UISTMAN59 has told me It's not an island but the Three Sisters Headland at Dingle, along from Smerwick and Farranlateeve.
