PS3 bombed pretty hard for a time longer than the wii and 360 (although the wii never really achieved its full glory... damn casual games) Having to both fix bluray issues which no one asked for bluray in the first place and sony forced it on us, and then had to lower its price about 3 times and restructured their network before they rose up this last year.. towards the end of the generation. Sony and its games were not the best in ps3

I think this video is misunderstood and misunderstanding. The fidelity of killzone compared to crysis is no comparison. Crysis is obviously better and has a high graphical quality.. it's comparable to that of the unreal engine. However killzone has a frame rate and clipping comparable to it's own in game movie sequences. Crysis CAN NOT show the same. its like comparing a lion to a cheetah.. which one is stronger? obviously the lion but the cheetah is much smoother and faster.
What a fail video. I'm mainly a PC shooter fan, but KZ2 is just stunning and looking better on HDTV than many PC games. Fuck, KZ2 looks better on PS3 than MW3 on PC on ultra. Some of the effects used in KZ2 are nowhere else to be seen. It's one of the better looking game to this date - across all platforms.
And yes, the author used some bullshit screens, some of them from Killzone 1 even... lol. KZ2 doesn't look like that, unless you play it on some burnt out tube tv via SCART.

THe lightining in Crysis is the most important aspect and it much better than the differed lightning used in KZ 2,3 and Crysis 2 and which is now being used in every other game. Since its cheap.
But the Light engine of Crysis requires very high computation, however results are far better. So it your choice quality or quantity.

PS3 bombed pretty hard for a time longer than the wii and 360 (although the wii never really achieved its full glory... damn casual games) Having to both fix bluray issues which no one asked for bluray in the first place and sony forced it on us, and then had to lower its price about 3 times and restructured their network before they rose up this last year.. towards the end of the generation. Sony and its games were not the best in ps3

I think this video is misunderstood and misunderstanding. The fidelity of killzone compared to crysis is no comparison. Crysis is obviously better and has a high graphical quality.. it's comparable to that of the unreal engine. However killzone has a frame rate and clipping comparable to it's own in game movie sequences. Crysis CAN NOT show the same. its like comparing a lion to a cheetah.. which one is stronger? obviously the lion but the cheetah is much smoother and faster.

What a fail video. I'm mainly a PC shooter fan, but KZ2 is just stunning and looking better on HDTV than many PC games. Fuck, KZ2 looks better on PS3 than MW3 on PC on ultra. Some of the effects used in KZ2 are nowhere else to be seen. It's one of the better looking game to this date - across all platforms.
And yes, the author used some bullshit screens, some of them from Killzone 1 even... lol. KZ2 doesn't look like that, unless you play it on some burnt out tube tv via SCART.

@NewLynxS - I never said the PC doesn't have any exclusives. PS3 and Xbox 360 imo combined from 2005-present have better exclusives than PC. I was just replying to an arrogant PC nerd who insisted that graphics are all that matters in video games. Yeah PC does have better graphics than PS3 and Xbox 360, but that doesn't mean the PS3, Xbox 360, or any other console sucks.

Anyways yes I do agree Red Dead is awesome but PC has so many more exclusives i mean honestly there are a shit load of games that are only pc and are awesome now many are moving to consoles and thats why graphics get worse and the map sizes decrease, crysis gfx suck dick and its a tiny spec believe it or not compared to crysis maps which takes away.

@TheJcmomo - I agree PC is superior to consoles in graphics. Im just saying graphics aren't everything. Some people can't afford high powered PC's and just buy consoles cuz it's cheaper. Yes PC does have a lot of exclusives, but what PC only gamers forget is that they're missing out on a lot of great games like the one's I mentioned. It's best to own multiple consoles to play different games that are only exclusive like Uncharted, or God of War 3 .

@SFmaster23 Dude play Crysis on enthausist setting above 720p resolution. Nothing litreally matches not even Crysis 2 on max settings and DX 11 with HD textures.
THe lightining in Crysis is the most important aspect and it much better than the differed lightning used in KZ 2,3 and Crysis 2 and which is now being used in every other game. Since its cheap.
But the Light engine of Crysis requires very high computation, however results are far better. So it your choice quality or quantity.

@ronvnkl232 im not a fanboy, i played killzone 2, 3(have you played?) and Crysis 2(on every platform, just for comparison, but ofcource complete only on 1(ps3), because of too boring campaign).

Crysis hands down, its not even a fair fight, Crysis looks so much cleaner and Killzone 2 looks cartoony and blurry, umm...its a console hello. I wish they'd stop trying to compare a PS3 game to a PC game, it will never come close. PC is just way superior. PS3 is like the 360, except the online experience is not as good.

@gammogun actually, only one of the screen shots were killzone 1, the rest were killzone 2, but they were footage from 2007 and 2005, before the game was released. The actual game look way better than those screen shots
