Carvin Guitars walk-through w/ Family Owner - Mark Kiesel - NAMM 2010 10

Ordered a Bolt Plus and DC 127 in 2011 which I had to return because of unfixable fret buzz. The finish on both guitars, however, was excellent. Total shipping costs and a pro guitar set on the second guitar costs me over $400. $400 out the window and good deal of time wasted. Disappointed since most the guitars at half the price like Ibanez seldom have bad fret buzz. Probably my fault for buying something over the mail w/o trying it first. Still waiting for my refund. Buyer be warned.

I got my Carvin CT4 today with Floyd Rose. I just cant describe how good this guitars are because they are perfect. Good Sound, versatile, beautiful, easy to play and stays in tune when abusing with Floyd Rose. Thanks Carvin :)

Carvin has been making guitars since 1946. Super solid reputation. I have two Carvins and couldn't be happier with them. A beautiful product. Great people to work with. My last one is a SH550. I was very specific about what I wanted...even the quilt maple wood grain. They nailed it.

Carvin made me my custom tiger-eye finish with gold hardware. I could look at these guitars all day. Now if only they'd rout their single coil cavities for replacement pickups. (SD's and DiMarzios have that little dip so they are not perfectly oval) And I'd love to see Carvin (or anybody else) come out with a WHITE transluscent flame/curly top. Nonetheless Carvin is a great company.

I have a Carvin H2 Holdsworth guitar that I have been playing with live since 98. It's a fantastic guitar with a beautiful and unique tone. I always receive compliments on my sound with this guitar.

I own two Carvin guitars and they both are top notch. My new CS6 is of much better quality than the two new Les Paul's I bought over the summer and immediately sent back to be someone else's problem. They were both pure junk. I own two old 70's Gibson's which are great but the new ones seem to be few of good quality.

Carvin always seems to me to be a very classy company. I've never seen anything that I have found that I didn't like from them.

These guys are considered some of the nicest ppl in the guitar business.

I've never had a problem with them in regards to customer service. So yes, I just wish they had a larger clientele, bc they make QUALITY and SERVICE.
