Can you link to which schematic you used to make the pedal? I've seen different things and I like the sound of yours so any info on your build would be great.
if its in good condition I'd say somewhere around $200 because it's a good 2 speaker high wattage amp. Other than the fact that it's used, I don't see why it should be sold for cheap. Just because it's an older model doesnt mean it's bad.
ok man , dont take it that way, it's just the opposite.
Im telling you this because the most important thing about this pedal, and what we are all talking about, is the power of it, shouald have played something more "open" and slow to demonstrate the power and how "thick" the sound is, im not telling you what to do at all..just a suggestion
I've had this amp for 3 years, and it sounds amazing on the solo channel(especially with the shape knob). I know its no Marshall(or Dr. Boogey for that matter) but it has great lead tone.
thats what i do to play live to get my sound spread out more, i just watched some of your DIY guitar videos and i have to say that the work you did is incredible!
it depends on the cab but the crate cab for this series fits nicely with it, i think it was deigned to be also used as a head because of the external speaker jack
I didn't really like the sound of your amp at all.. but man when you dropped the boogey it was ridiculously awesome. Where'd you get the schematics and parts for it?
I agree, I find my amp somewhat toneless because it's the solo channel which has no tonestack to adjust, but the Dr. Boogey is really satisfying, it sounds even better in person. Im planning on building a new one.
hey bro, your DIY guitar is coming out sick as hell, how much in total you spent to get all the parts and such, cause I've been thinking on doing the same??? but really good job on that beauty...
were you using the dr boogie pedal on this demo?

coll, excellent pedal but you should have played something that demonstrates the power of the pedal ,, not something improvised =s.

how does it look on top of a cab? is the width the same or is the cab a bit wider?

DUY1337GUITAR 2 years ago

dareheaven2 2 years ago
I'm buying GuitarHeads Hexbuckers because they're super cheap, but way better than many brand name pickups for twice the price.
