  • were you using the dr boogie pedal on this demo?

  • I love my amp <3 crate xt120r FTW!!! got a new stack, but still play mah crate!

  • how is the clean channel on this amp?

  • Can you link to which schematic you used to make the pedal? I've seen different things and I like the sound of yours so any info on your build would be great.

  • Thrash is Back by Fueled by Fire at 3:48

    \m/

    badass fuking song

  • LOL the crate actually doesnt sound that different then the doctor boogie

  • how did you manage to get that kind of sound out of the amp without the dr boogie? mine sounds like shittt without a pedal

  • dr boogey rulz¡

  • coll, excellent pedal but you should have played something that demonstrates the power of the pedal ,, not something improvised =s.

  • @guitarralaraja

your comment doesnt even make sense. And I dont take in comments that tells me what I "should" do.

  • @DUY1337GUITAR how much is that amp worth?

  • @xx55AC55xx

I think it was $300-$400 when it came out.

  • @DUY1337GUITAR how much could i sell mine for these days? i got one but i recentley got a better amp so i need to sell this

  • @xx55AC55xx

if its in good condition I'd say somewhere around $200 because it's a good 2 speaker high wattage amp. Other than the fact that it's used, I don't see why it should be sold for cheap. Just because it's an older model doesnt mean it's bad.

  • @guitarralaraja

ok man , dont take it that way, it's just the opposite.

Im telling you this because the most important thing about this pedal, and what we are all talking about, is the power of it, shouald have played something more "open" and slow to demonstrate the power and how "thick" the sound is, im not telling you what to do at all..just a suggestion

    Best regards

  • @guitarralaraja

How else would you expect him to demo the pedal? He is playing it, isn't he?

  • nice sound...bfmv fan tough

  • xD you annoyed your parents rest of the evening LOLZ XD

  • i have this amp too, i hate the sounds it is toneless, i use a digitech rp2000 to give it tone

  • i have this amp and after playing it for years, i only find the clean sound and the reverb to be usable.

  • I've had this amp for 3 years, and it sounds amazing on the solo channel(especially with the shape knob). I know its no Marshall(or Dr. Boogey for that matter) but it has great lead tone.

  • haha i got the same amp you have for like 80 dollars at guitar center used! definitly great for the money

  • I want to stack this on top of a cabinet :D

  • thats what i do to play live to get my sound spread out more, i just watched some of your DIY guitar videos and i have to say that the work you did is incredible!

  • how does it look on top of a cab? is the width the same or is the cab a bit wider?

  • it depends on the cab but the crate cab for this series fits nicely with it, i think it was deigned to be also used as a head because of the external speaker jack

  • I didn't really like the sound of your amp at all.. but man when you dropped the boogey it was ridiculously awesome. Where'd you get the schematics and parts for it?

  • I agree, I find my amp somewhat toneless because it's the solo channel which has no tonestack to adjust, but the Dr. Boogey is really satisfying, it sounds even better in person. Im planning on building a new one.

  • search "dr boogey" on google, and you'll find the schematic and the layout that I used.

  • hey bro, your DIY guitar is coming out sick as hell, how much in total you spent to get all the parts and such, cause I've been thinking on doing the same??? but really good job on that beauty...

  • lol annoyed the heck outa your parents

    haha

    nice playing

how many guitars you got mate?

  • I got an acoustic, my Ibanez RG, and pretty soon my Jem will be finished. I want to get an LP style guitar too.

  • nice, hows the guitar in the making coming along?

    wats left to do?

you should take pics of final product and a video of you playing it XD

  • Just today, I got enough money to buy the rest of the parts. Gonna give it to my mom so that she could deposit in the bank then I can order online

  • wat you gettin now an wats left to get?

  • I'm getting electronic components, specific ones for my custom pickup configuration. And I'm also ordering two humbuckers and a single coil.

  • which ones you gettin?

i got 81 sa sa set in my hss guitar, great pickups in a shit guitar dat has barely any sustain wat so ever, wat a waste lol, need a new body for it

  • I'm buying GuitarHeads Hexbuckers because they're super cheap, but way better than many brand name pickups for twice the price.

  • ah kl, hope their good mate

  • That sounds great. Really usable and versatile.

  • good golly ms molly

  • Sounds Great!
