Is the Sadowsky Preamp better than Aguilar Tone Hammer?

i dont know, you gotta try yourself. the sadowsky has very good warm tone but aguilar has overdrive etc which obviously have different purpose.

Are you playing through the stock Seymour Duncans that came with the bass?

Yep. But its with sadowsky humcancelling pickups now. I really like the tone though, it really brings that mid-potato fender when you slap it. really vintage.

Great Preamp! Do you think it better than EBS Micro Bass DI?

Depends what you after. EBS is more versatile, while the sadowsky DI has its own character and more narrow.

Great sound. I also seen your ebs microamp video. what's you favourite pre/pedal? I found in the ebs sound less mid... and is much brighter... is it?

Yes. Sorry for the late reply. The sadowsky preamp is not mine. Now im selling my EBS to get the Sadowsky DI. lol.
