I've never seen a water powered funicular in action before. Does the driver release the brakes & just keep filling the tanks with water until the cars start to move?
Thats my Dad driving the lift, he said, wow you really got a good shot of his bum! lol its basically closed down now, it wont be run by dad and his mates anymore,

The water fills up the tank on the upper car, water is removed from the lower car, the driver releases the brake and the cars move.
