iPhone Tutorial - Text Messaging to Groups

It's really convenient to send out mass text message for my group. I do not want everyone in the group to each get an individual response sent to them about the original text. Please tell me if there is a free cell phone app that gives me that setting. I have a 4g my touch slide with t mobile. thanks ddc700@gmail.com

@TheTisman - No, the recipients will not know that they are receiving a mass text. It arrives like any other person-to-person text and they cannot see the other recipients. Hope the app will meet your needs!

hi how long does it take to receive a txt message for recipient. Could u tell me the approx time pls. I would like to send a group of 100 people

@baagii0830 The text messages will be received immediately, as long as there are no data network delays. They work just like a person-to-person text message, but a group of 100 will take approximately 3-4 minutes to send, depending on the character count of the text.

@silvypoop This app requires a data plan with a cell carrier. Messages are sent like a standard SMS, therefore they will arrive on time, unlike other mass text apps that send your messages through their servers.

"finally there is an app for that" Stupid iphone. Other phone didn't require app to do that, I could have easily done that without external app on any other phone.

is there a limit on how many people can be added to a group i need to have 80 people in one group. also does it send as a mms or a sms?

@TMWarMoth There is no limit, but I recommend that you keep your groups to around 100.
