Good playing. I'm also learning this "piece" at the moment. It makes me laugh every time I hear that Maj7 interval (between the C and the B) - I don't know why, but it just sounds so unexpected. And it doesn't sound much like a Maj7 either. Classic Brouwer, huh? :-)

A speed faster than this could sound better to some but I actually enjoyed hearing this performance more than some of the other faster (yet cleanly played) ones. One with sufficient technique could easily play so absurdly fast that the music would sound like trivial noise.

I don't care what the score says, (well, I do, but not with no. 7) and I think this is a great speed for this piece.

don't forget, the score is marked "as fast as possible". Maybe that is as fast as he can play it at the moment. I think it sounds great so far!
