I prefer the Slush Mug! Mainly because I'm a Vat19.com fan, and it's way more fun to make slushies in a slush mug, since you acually participate in making your epic slushie! Plus, with the Slush Mug, you can even make beer slushies and milk slushies, and almost any slushie you could imagine!!!!
It is true that it is possible in some cases to do without the product but it is very unpredictable and will not work for many beverages. Slush-It! takes away all the guesswork giving you very predictable results. Plus it works on a much larger variety of beverages due to the Cool Capsule's thermal stabilizing effect. FOr the price it can't be beat IMO!
