This 'JJ' worm is notorious for scamming tourists and he is certainly backed by at least one local official of some ranking. If a scam by locals becomes profitable, corrupt local cops will take a cut and look away. JJ's attitude of invincibility - together with daring to flash a gun (gun possession is a crime for all except law enforcement in Thailand) - make this a certainty in this case. Hopefully the exposure via the show (and youtube) will prompt an honest superior to investigate...

That's typical in Thailand guys, Thai always look to get benefit from foreigner especially European, not only Jet ski business, it's just every single thing they can get benefit from; Guys come to my country instead, LAOS, we are a lot more friendly and Lao people never think of taking benefit from tourists, this is our typical, if you don't believe me ask your friends who ever come to Laos or search from Google, come on guys DON"T GO TO THAILAND

I don't think it's right to say Don't Go To Thailand, because Laotian are a lot more friendly. There's these kind of ppl everywhere. At looks of this I think the shop owner is being legit. I don't know about the cost, but it's on the contract.
Anyway I agree we (Lao) do have big hearts, but I hope tourist goes to Laos for it's beautiful nature, histories, cultures, and delicious food!

I don't know..it good acting and I wondering why did JJ let another guy recording video with no saying thing..he seems not too stupid to save himself if he was doing that cruel thing to tourists..I just hope that's not real.
