Just heard Larry Miller's new album Unfinished Business on Paul Jones BBC Radio 2 ...Absolutely Brilliant!
My wife and I saw Larry Miller in Poole. He put so much effort and enthsiam into the first three songs, we thought he would never last til the end!
Every song sounded like the final encore. Forget the likes of Joe Bonamassa and Seasick Steve, support our own home grown talent. If enough true Blues/Rock fans get the ball rolling, surely Larry Miller will get the recognition he deserves
My old band MAD DOG once supported Larry Miller in the Marquee, London. I remember him being a great guy, with a great sense of humour. I wonder if he remnembers us wearing red buckets!!!
MAD DOG ??!! Only the best band that ever came out of Wales!
Course I remember the red buckets (with Mad Dog printed on them), the comics, the Captain Pugwash tune and lets not forget, literally the kitchen sink!
It was an honour playing with you guys, actually my new album Unfinished Business due out end of this month (plug plug ...but not as in kitchen sink ..DOH!)
the first song on the album is ...MAD DOG !!! .... how spooky is that!
He wanted to release his new album at the Borderline in July this year. The Borderline say he can't fill a 300 seater venue - check out his website for more info. His fans are really angry!
