@masterproxl: Nope, this bus is not owned or operated by D-dot. They don't have any Hybrid buses yet and they won't arrive until late-2010--which is this year.
Most definitely a DE40LFR, matched the front with the C40LFR. This is quite the awesome catch, New Flyer probably owns the bus cause this is most likely a demonstration bus.
Who ever owns that bus, they need to fix that rear door, its already fallen apart, I bet you that it belongs to Lansing CATA because they have theirs for Hybrids from 2006-07.
@qwandiddy hey dont ever say that voted number1 in america.we are not ddot or fuck up transit department so yeah i put a video of there de40lfr and it sure makes detroits new flyers worse then they r now
More than likely, it'd be New Flyer. DDOT was (more than likely) testing it to see if hybrid vehicles are cost effective and have good performance.
IF the bus passed DDOT testing, buy a tape recorder, some memory cards, and get as many rides (video and audio) of them RTS's as you can, because they'll be surely on the way out.
Is the DE40LFR part of D-DOT?
