@JohnCougarFish23 You can't prevent it 100% because the small fan can't push though the covers. You can only reduce it and put the box somewhere dark. A peice of fabric would work, or a downpipe.

Autoflowering strains would work perfect, and there are some that finish (from seed to harvest) in 9 weeks. Sweet Seeds Speed Devil comes to mind. The only improvement I would recommend would be to add some type of odor control, even one plant can be pungent. I would also switch the bulbs to a warm white (2700K) spectrum once they start to flower. They look like 26W bulbs so the electric use is pennies per day! Keep Growing!!!

@motopros The size the plants reach depends on when you start flowering. If you start flowering after only 3 weeks of vegetative growth, the plant will always stay short. You can also use dwarf autoflowering strains which have been genetically altered to only reach a max height of 18". Check out lowryder#1.

Growing outside goes with the seasons. Those plants will grow on vegetative state until the fall comes around. If you want to speed things up, you would have to somehow get the plants on a 12/12 hour light cycle. this simulates fall and as soon as your plants get on this treatment, they will automatically begin flowering. You may see Mr.Greens indoor grow room videos to get some ideas.

@sobakd dude if they just sprouted after 1 1/2 m they were to deep and or bad seed id go with bad seed always sprout your seeds in paper towel and plate method to see the strongest ones sprout first and about 24 hours then place in dirt just enough to cover them lightly and wait for them to come up !

but i put 3 seeds in a little glass of water in a dark closet and waited 24 hours, and all of them sank to the bottom (filled with water, thats what you want)

i dont know if you just put the seeds in the ground, root growing is basicly a chemical reaction that occurs when the seed is soaked in a dark area. so if you had the seeds in dry ground and after 1 month it gets wet, but there could be tons of other things

@copratethug08 The Indoor Bible, by George Cervantes. That book changed my life! Any headshop should carry it. Or just buy it online. He also has a dvd, but I recommend his books. In high school I grew a plant in a modified speaker box. My folks never found out(until my girlfriends bitch sister ratted me out. But that was after the harvest=) You must use a HPS lamp though, these CFL bulbs are only good for clones, maybe veg. Home Depot has 150Watt HPS for like, $60.
