Just picked up a 1978 Mercedes Benz 300D and started picking up waste oil from my local deli's, chinese food places, and restaurants.
Any chance you know the average growth of a jatropha tree, yield, etc? Can it handle cold climates? Or it needs a greenhouse. Live up north, and really wouldn't mind randomly planting them around my area to come back and harvest later.

Yeah
Air New Zealand alredy tested a 50/50 Jet-1 and Jatropha Oil mixture in a 747 airplane. And it worked.
