let us not forget that asgard beam weapons can penatrate ori sheilds. and only sabotage at the hands of the tau'ri was finaly enough to take down anubis's flagship. but i think anubis's knowledgeof the ancients would allow him to adapt quite well to the advancing ori army. and his geneticly engineered son (khalek season 9 ep 9 "prototype") is more than a match for the priors possibly even adria herself considering how close khalek was to ascending himself.

No, that was Anubis ship. Apophis ship is essentially one big Hatak, exactly the same as Ra had in the movie. No goa'uld ship is able to stand against asgard weaponry and ancient drones, so it is logical that Ori weapon will also be able to penetrate their shields with ease.
No, i just saw "enemies" Jacob says Apophis's flagship can shoot through shields, so an ori ship would lose its biggest advantage, nearly-invincible shields. Apophis's ship could probably take down 1 ori ship, but if more come he is screwed. Anubis's ship fully powered is probably the strongest ship in stargate ( it can destroy the surface of half a planet)
Possible, I saw it long time ago. However this still does'nt proove anything. Goa'uld weaponry as well as shields were presented as much weaker than those of Asgard or Ancients. Ori are equall to ancients after ascencion. Their ships basically won all of their first battles, beacuase their shields were impenetrable. Apophis ship was able to penetrate shileds of other goa'uld vessels. This does not imply that he would be able to do so in ori case.
Asgard weaponry, which did more than fine against goa'uld till Anubis came, was not able to do a thing against Ori, and i took them two years to find a way. except anubis`s ships, im not a big fan of anubis, but in the season 7 (i think) anubis, or osiris, sends 3 ships or something to a asgard reaserch planet, and destroyes asgars ship guarding it
Goa'uld. Anubis has the idea he is some kind of god and someone with that mentality could never get on his knees and offer his service to the Ori. Plus a Prior has more power than Anubis.
Anubis had the ability to use and knew how to use ancient tech that no else knew how to cause he was half dead. But the Ori can tell the Priors exactly how to make advanced ships and weapons.
Stargate the Movie - OK i guess
Stargate season 1-5 - Best of all. 10 points for character development
Stargate season 6 - Not bad.. however its not great
Stargate season 7-8 - Better than season 6
Stargate season 9-10 - Borders on the absurd. But nice acting and storyline
Stargate continum, ark of truth - looks kinda stuck with a tv budget, doesn't look and feel like grade A material for movies (i know it for closure)
Overall - Great sci fi, belong among the best of sci fi series
