It is a bit too american folky for me... BUT it really is obvious the difference of Pros and very talented but not Pro players.  It's not the cliches of "no mistakes" it's a matter of fact....the music is made ... whether you wanna call that 'mistakes' or not is up to everyone else. for this reason, i really respect this. in the end we are given the chance to decide if we agree with the manner in which is played. thanks maestro!

It's played faster than some I've heard, but there a quality of the music that changes if we simply elongate it or shorten it. Oh! I just realized I have his transcription of this! XD

Thanks for this post. Parkening's muting of the bass line is unique and beautiful. He balances virtuosity and artistry perfectly.
