Its a cute commercial but the title of the vid makes the whole thing sexist. There are plenty of female backpackers, they make female specific gear for a reason. The vid should be titled backpacking city girl or sissie girlfriend or something like that.

lol thats my wife we lived in the tetons and im a hiker / back packer and she would be just like that hated it but still loved the backcountry moved north of west yellowstone now and just take my dog up with me its more fun and easyer on my back

Ok first I was offended by this, being an avid woman backpacker, but then I realized it's pretty funny....except they should have had a wimpy guy instead of a woman being the wimp! I know guys who wouldn't enjoy backpacking in places I've willingly gone into......

you would only say she's smart because you've probably never been backpacking. That would never make it the whole way and carrying a backpack on your back is WAY easier!

No I haven't. But I've been backpacking and know...well depending on what hike/trail you have, that slidex would never make it. :) I'm sorry if you disagree

Relax! It's just meant to be a silly commercial! Slidex is for moving furniture around, you get it at hardware stores. No one with half a brain would seriously think you can use it hiking, right? It's called satire :)
