Jaclyn could well do the same in North America. (See channel ewafarnatv ; there is a huge amount of her stuff on YouTube, including recordings made by me, a little in English, mostly in Czech, Polish and some Slovak). Jaclyn sounds a bit more nuanced than Ewa at the same age.

@SupernalOne Herb Alpert doubletracks his trumpet, so did Bob Crewe and I think it's sweet and vicious. If you go back and find this young ladies' clips dating to age 11 you will see she knows EXACTLY how to present her voice! As far as I know it's not a live contest to begin, it's all auditions and based on the treatment of a certain song, maybe a seminal moment in Canadian music history. I liked it so much I showcased it. Kenyon and Costello are promising talents in their own right.

Nice pick work and great vocals, it's hard now days to get your heads up to a level to be noticed. I worked for a short man named Leo Fender and while doing things at his shop I met lots of performers picking up thier equipment and of course onsite we had a studio for testing what we made and at times the people picking up their guitars and amps would play, Black Velvet performed by you two isn't bad, not bad at all. Avoid bad managers and stay out of trouble. KMA229 later dudes...

You've got a very nice sound and a nice voice and I enjoyed the song, but you do have a bit of a nasal thing happening which is not my favorite. A few voice lesons from the right vocal coach and you can get out of your nose which will give you a much cleaner, stronger, more powerful voice and much better control of your instrument. Yes I know there are successful pop singer who sing through their noses, but they too would sound better if they didn't.
