In 1955 I remember Maypo Hot Cereal, Ipana Toothpaste and Davy Crocket with Fess Parker. I had a real coonskin hat too. I`m 66 this Nov 13th. I was 10 then. I remembered enough Bars from the Mickey Mouse Club anthem to this day. I still can`t talk like Donald Duck. i wouldn`t do it out loud if I could..!
Using this song in the fianle for my dance show xx we are doing a disney themed show and this is the song where we all come on a nd bow and we have agiant mickey nouse wandering round :D zx
@visor109; Spin & Marty was add to programing as a western theme storyline for the round-up shows. I don't see where or how you get Bill Cliton in any of this?.
@visor109; None taken, The kid on the right also acted as Mike in "My Three Son's" whom died in a auto crash at a youg age. The red-headed kid is; well I forgot just who he is but all in all it wasn't my most favorite part of round-up day on the "Mickey Mouse Club" - "Zorro!" was the one I liked the best when it was shown:
@sond369; That's just the way it is & the way it was mixed & edited in our studios, Sorry. I'm sure you can find other's to view if you've got kid's. TB & BF-Ceeee:
They thought Walt Disney was out of his mind when he said he was going to build an amusement park out in the middle of the orange groves in Anahein (Anaheim?) CA beginning in 1954..Who's going to go there? Today there is sits and people still go at $85.00 a pop.
@joraider08; He first wanted to build it out by La Puente, CA. & he was though nuts then as well that's when he asked to build in Anaheim, CA. My grandfather had a life time pass to ride the train that runs around the Magic Kingdom grandpa had worked for the Great Northern R&R back in the day:
I lived in a working class neighborhood in the 50s. No color TV there. I saw TV for the first time in 1951, My friends house was a popular place, until more of us got TVs, although a old neighbor had an old one with a magnifying glass to see the tiny screen LOL. Bonanza was the first color program I saw on a TV in an Army dayroom in 1964 at Ft. Sill OK.. By then, the quality was excellent. I stiil fondly remember my grandmother saying that someday they'll have a radio with a picture.
@boilerbob7; Yha! my grandma said some funny things back in the day too. My dad served in the ARMY/Air Corp. during WW2 in the U.S. & worked on testing out the first portable radar tracking stations in the field. Pop was a mechanic who'd fix anything on the run being the generator or the duce&a1/2. Did you go to Nam then (What A Hell Hole & CF That Was): I went to join the Air Force being a bit of a techno-geek right out of high school but got rejected because of bad knees.
@tinkerbruzer Nazi's were ahead of their time they had everything but the nuclear weapon(which they were trying to figure out) All of this technogly today is refubished and upgraded Germany Military Systems.Their's reasons why the russians and the americans abducted lots of German scientists..I for one appreciate of all this stuff,THANK YOU GERMANY USA AND RUSSIA
@1988scottcarey: I don't understand!; What's "The Mickey Mouse March" Got to do with Germany & Russia most of all them "Dam Nazi's" here at a famed Kid's TV-Theme song posting?????????......
@boilerbob7; Oh! but your wrong my friend: Colored Tv's were around in the 50's only not in the average households. They first sold to the well-to-do or rich in 1954 because I remember our Tv repairman telling my dad he started working on them more & more in 58 & 59. He had added they'd be the next big thing in Tv in two or three years & they were which stated around 64 or 65 out in L.A. where we lived. Everyone had Colored Tv by the time Bonanza came to us in color from Mt Willson's tower.
@maxitash09 There's not much I can do about that, You'll have to wright them and ask to show the old "Mickey Mouse Club" from back in the day or see if you can find it on DVD.

@tinkerbruzer No offense intended, but at 0:22, he looks like a very young Bill Clinton. (The guy on the left)
At least to me he does.

Hi Buck:
Thanks; I like to just keep my mind engaged in being creative or I end up sitting in front of boob box looking at brain dead TV programing:
