I loved this game! I used to manage a century on county(level) on 1 dayers, test was a bit more of a challenge - I played India once where Jadeja went on to get a double century. It was carnage and I was smashed from ball one. Excellent game and I reckon there`s still not been a better cricket game since - especially test playability.

ashes 2009 looks like a fantastic game, and if they just make individual bowling actions, i think it could be an awesome game. Though this is a classic soooo you cannot compare.

I remember playing a test match and batting for the first 4 days and 2 sessions (I made thousands of runs, but I can't remember the exact score). Then I bowled out the opposition twice in the last session. The good old days. I remember Slater and Tayler made over 1500 runs each (Using the hardest mode)

No doubth this is the BEST Cricket Game Ever.. I recently brought EA Sports 2008 and Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 BUT NONE OF these MATCHED THE pleasure of Brian Lara 99.. Believe me !

The moevements seem more authentic and real than the more modern games, the way the batsmen and the bowlers move and stuff, i remember this game, it was really good, but annoying, like most cricket games lol

actually on second looks, this video has actually annoyed me.. whatever idiot made this video has made the game look rubbish and boring, but if your an actual cricket fan then your like this game alot more than the other recent ones, in this game the opposition actually try and make ur target wheres on BLC 07 your usually get them out for at the most 20... the games are actual crap!
