However americans like being on British TV shows such as Johnathan Ross and TopGear. In USA every show is the same. Conan, Letterman, Jay Leno and 10 other shows are EXACTLY copies of eachothers.

She seems so lovely, also just the fact, that she would come on this show, I mean, she should, but people would probably usually turn these sort of things down, when they have the status, that she has, but she´s still just relaxing with Stephen :)
its quite obvious that she's very modest and doesnt care all that much about the fact that shes won the awards, though im certain shes a little proud, who wouldnt be? but if you cant remember what you won them for, its prob because you werent all that interested in them in the first place... i prefer my actors that way - caring more about the work, and people, than about how many awards theyve gotten XD

Snow White must've won a special Oscar for being the 1st full-length animated film and that is what he's referring to--it didn't win the Oscar for Best Picture. Agree with David on that film LOL.
just to add, stephen fry, emma thompson, david mitchell and alan davis are a perfect combination, possibly my favourite in QI history, it's JUST john sessions who i would pay to smack int he mouth.

@lickstickly not hate, it's impossible to hate someone you've never met who isn't jeremy clarkson. Despite what your mum might have told you, not all hostility comes from jealousy. Of course i would love to be as knowledgable and genius as Sessions, I just dislike watching him on this show. He seems cocky to me, but as i said, it's my opinion and i'm sure it's not shared by many.
Having said that I think it's very easy to hate someone you have never met, hating them once you have met them is much more difficult in my opinion...

The way we feel about celebrities we don't like usually isn't the same as hating someone you know in real life who has directly wronged you. Nothing, quite right. I'm replying to your question "what has she ever done in the world?". Her being funny is probably a matter of subjectivity, which is why I didn't mention it as part of her general contribution to art and human well-being.

Aside from her accomplishments in her profession, she is also involved in many social causes, such as raising awareness about the sex slave trade, for instance.
