They visited my school. When he stepped onto the stage in our auditorium, everyone was expecting someone scary or mean. But he wasn't scary or mean or bad. He just made a bad decision.

They could have a couple cars of the subway/light rail and a couple buses in key areas dedicated to bar goers on weekends, with added security and a more expensive fair (still much cheaper then a cab tho of course, thats the point!), but this is totally feasable- and why hasnt it happend?-- dont wannna stop the money machine? even tho its costing lives???

Smallridge is an inmate in the prison i work at.. The have reduced him down to 11 years but he spends most of his time writing people and cooridinating campaigns like this one.

drinking and driving unfortunately happens alot but it is not premeditated. no one says i'm going to get completely wasted and drive home with a high risk of killing myself or others. people have this misconception that you have to be a totally evil person to drink and drive. its a known fact that alcohol lowers inhibition. not that someone like eric shouldn't pay the consequences for his actions, but it wasn't a malicious act

yeah i do think it will make a difference. people that know him and knew the two girls will probably never consider getting behind the wheel after drinking. Its a deterrent, are you against the death penalty as well? These deterrents are designed to influence peoples decisions after they get out. The death penalty is the ultimate deterrent after you get your sentence you will never kill again. After thinking about his mistake for 22 years this man will hopefully never do it again.
I'm happy to see that their family got justice because my family didn't. My 17 yr old sister was killed by a drunk driver and her killer is walking free, drving around with a smile on her face as if nothing ever happend! This has to stop, everyone makes their own choices, make the right one to call a cab or a family member or a friend.Help stop the endless pain!!!!!!
to tell the truth, if the mother didn't forgive this guy, then wut else could she have done? I mean there's nothing else that could get back her daughter back. And the guy has already gotten his sentence(22 yrs is a long time). So this is mostly about drinking and driving, nothing emotional. The feeling of losing someone close to you is just something that would eventually happen any time. So forgiveness might be the best solution in this case. (hope i dont offend anyone) :D

im in SADD and i recently went to the leadership summit in orlando and the mother of one of the girls talked to us about drinking and driving. i was horrible, every minute i was on the verge of tears, i think every one was.
im very happy that some one as strong as that woman can do and talk about something so horrible
im sorry 4 the loss of those girls... i lost a friend from drinking & driving a few yrs ago. bad thing is she was the driver that had been drinking. she had a husband & a baby boy @ home w8n 4 her. she had done it many times but the last time she lost control of her car bout a mile or so from her house & she didnt make it thru the impact from internal injuries & the top came off the car. it was real bad. what was really sad is that baby didnt get to know his mom & his dad is a single parent.
My son was recently hit by a drunk driver...my son was a pedestrian, he survived...I am very thankful that he is alive and he is healing. I am so sorry for the loss of these 2 girls lives...the laws in Kansas are very lax...they say here that an intoxicated driver doesn't know right from wrong...all he is going to get it a dui....I think it is horrendous what happens when people drink and drive...Thank you for sharing this....I will post it on my channel as well. She came to my school today and i spoke to her because i know exactly what she had to go through, i lost a brother to a man who was high of his ass and hit my brother, my brother didnt die on the scene but five days later, those 5 days were the worst of my life

how can you think rationally like that when your fucking drunk. name one good decision someone's made while drunk. the solution to this problem is you shouldn't even drive to the bar in the first place. that's what i do. the cab should be taken to the bar and people should be less harsh when it's not taken home from the bar because they are druuuuuuunk

Smallridge is an inmate in the prison i work at.. The have reduced him down to 11 years but he spends most of his time writing people and cooridinating campaigns like this one.
But yeah.. he is right.. you make the choice.. just get a cab and dont be a jerk.. it only takes one time for this to happen to anyone.. he isnt the first and wont be the last

drinking and driving unfortunately happens alot but it is not premeditated. no one says i'm going to get completely wasted and drive home with a high risk of killing myself or others. people have this misconception that you have to be a totally evil person to drink and drive. its a known fact that alcohol lowers inhibition. not that someone like eric shouldn't pay the consequences for his actions, but it wasn't a malicious act

They ddidnt call him malicious.. but it is a stupid decision that could have been prevented simply by being responsible as turning off the stove. Turn it off or catch the house on fire.... get a cab or get in a wreck.. simple right?

yeah i do think it will make a difference. people that know him and knew the two girls will probably never consider getting behind the wheel after drinking. Its a deterrent, are you against the death penalty as well? These deterrents are designed to influence peoples decisions after they get out. The death penalty is the ultimate deterrent after you get your sentence you will never kill again. After thinking about his mistake for 22 years this man will hopefully never do it again.

I'm happy to see that their family got justice because my family didn't. My 17 yr old sister was killed by a drunk driver and her killer is walking free, drving around with a smile on her face as if nothing ever happend! This has to stop, everyone makes their own choices, make the right one to call a cab or a family member or a friend.Help stop the endless pain!!!!!!

to tell the truth, if the mother didn't forgive this guy, then wut else could she have done? I mean there's nothing else that could get back her daughter back. And the guy has already gotten his sentence(22 yrs is a long time). So this is mostly about drinking and driving, nothing emotional. The feeling of losing someone close to you is just something that would eventually happen any time. So forgiveness might be the best solution in this case. (hope i dont offend anyone) :D

im in SADD and i recently went to the leadership summit in orlando and the mother of one of the girls talked to us about drinking and driving. i was horrible, every minute i was on the verge of tears, i think every one was.
im very happy that some one as strong as that woman can do and talk about something so horrible

im sorry 4 the loss of those girls... i lost a friend from drinking & driving a few yrs ago. bad thing is she was the driver that had been drinking. she had a husband & a baby boy @ home w8n 4 her. she had done it many times but the last time she lost control of her car bout a mile or so from her house & she didnt make it thru the impact from internal injuries & the top came off the car. it was real bad. what was really sad is that baby didnt get to know his mom & his dad is a single parent.

My son was recently hit by a drunk driver...my son was a pedestrian, he survived...I am very thankful that he is alive and he is healing. I am so sorry for the loss of these 2 girls lives...the laws in Kansas are very lax...they say here that an intoxicated driver doesn't know right from wrong...all he is going to get it a dui....I think it is horrendous what happens when people drink and drive...Thank you for sharing this....I will post it on my channel as well. I think that this man should spend his life in jail. He made a stupid dumbass decision and that's what he deserves. I don't have any mercy for this man b/c he was stupid. I pray for the victims family and pray that they come out on top and become stronger
