try doing it by ear. get the progression, and then listen out the degrees. i believe he is playing myxolidian but leaving out most major seconds and sixths

hey ya thanks a lot, no the tone is coming from the Ibanez Thermion head. The Thermion is there tube head, I am also using an Xotic BB pre-amp for some extra sustain etc..
