The comments below point out the real point! With Rhianna, and to some respect Beyonce, comparisons seem somewhat appropriate. Rhianna is ok today, but really another contender trying to reach the throne that Beyonce holds until she decides to give it up. That's today's music. With Sade, there are no fitting comparisons. She is a true original! She's on her own throne! Period! With originals, there is no better or worse, just them being them. She is just Sade! ...and there is no other!!!

i must admit that ive got to agree with everyone who says that helen folasade adu is on a plateau of her own..this lady turned my ears out when i heard what turned out tobe my fave song of all time...SWEETEST TABOO!!! now that song right there put her on the map for me. i just remember being in my friends room playing with dolls and llstening to music. next thing i know i hear the distant storm coming up in the background and then the sticks...NONE CAN COMPARE!!!!!

Definitely! I'm a Capricorn too. I believe Sade's b-day is just a few days after or before mine (I was born Jan. 12th)...we are definitely perfectionists. Ambitious and determined people...I can't speak for all, but I know that I don't like to take other ppl's advice, but when I need it, I "slyly" ask for it...and I have a tendency to become a little emotional when things aren't done the way I want them to be.

That's the way I look at it when it comes to a huge star with a lot of respect like Sade. It appears that they're so down to earth and real because the music makes you feel that way about them but in reality they're just plain assholes. I've heard Lauryn Hill is just a plain asshole as well and it doesn't surprise me one bit.

Although I am a fan of Sade it's not like she's a family member of mine and even if she were I don't excuse anyone for being wrong no matter who it is. So I'd love to know the ugly truth and it still wouldn't stop me from loving the music because music is music but sometimes an artist and their music is two different things. An actor can play Jesus in a movie and be a complete asshole in real life so it wouldn't surprise me if she's an asshole.
