Benatar released her autobiography last year and she well documents the bullshit she went through with the record industry (males). ALSO, you gotta check out ASIAs 2010 release; OMEGA. Its probably thier best. Savatage has new stuff out too. And you are absolutely right about VH. @kevingthompson13 - FYI...Benatar was smeared way before Smyth. When Benatar was trying to break into the business (in the mid 70's), Smyth was still in High School. Benatar released her autobiography last year and she well documents the bullshit she went through with the record industry (males). Smyth did fight to achieve what she did, but only because of trail blazers like Benatar who made it a little bit easier for a women named Smyth! Fact is fact.

Always loved her and knew she had a killer voice (even back in the day). Her and Johnette Napolitano are alot alike. Killer female rock singers with tons of attitude and emotion. Both should have been mega-huge. Patty decided to bail and raise a family with John MacEnroe. She even turned down an offer to join VH in 1984. Still wonder how that would have turned out. Anyway, she rocks.
