someone should have told her to put that automatic into first gear instead of just drive, this way it don't bog when launching from the burnout lol Not bad i guess though
actualy better to rev you engine and get the tires hot and spinning fast...less stress on drivetrain if tires are hot and melting....and the new drivetrains are pretty tough in the mustangs after they got rid of the old aod slushbox......the new 5R55S trans in the mustangs can hold more than 700whp and drag launches...dont belive me look at jim d'ammore from jdm enginering sterling saleen drag car...stock trans(except higher stall converter) and runs9.69@142mph...sick! auto is makin a comeback!
@flannas21 haha, well, it was 3 years ago that I posted that. I just spent a grand on new tires so I wouldn't do it, but I guess if she was getting new ones, who cares
not so sure that it's hard on the engine but it's damn hard on the rear brakes...the burnouts were really good but to save your brakes I'd suggest a line lock for them...
stupid...pointless.

Was it really necessary to add an applause at the end? I thought we got past that in 4th grade powerpoint presentations.

People always mention the tires... I guess no one considers what a power-brake burnout does to the rear brakes and drums/rotors.

better than my first burnout. then again, you probably have 150+ hp over me :P

@skaterdeclan power means nothing, it's power to weight..a 12 hp go kart will roast the tires off with the right sprocket

don't see the appeal. I do know with the price of oil, tires have gone way up in cost though

First off, the engine was at about 4k, thats not low RPM, either way, it still would not be hard on the engine.

@fordlightning
the engine doesnt even know when a burnout is happening. transmissions hate em though
