Each actor has bought their own unique twist to the Bond character. Connery was the first, Lazenby bought charm to Bond, Moore played Bond with humor and swagger (a playboy with a gun if you want) Dalton brought Bond closer to the novels with his more darker and somber interpretation, Brosnan's portrayal was somewhat similar to Connery's with equal amounts of dark action and light humor while Craig is most faithful to the novels with his very dark and complex portrayl of a younger 007.

@Alstom1995 Not to jump into your argument, but in Casino Royale it explained that he wasn't going to love after he lost Vesper, he was supposed to seem emotionally romantically detached, but still into sex. His whole point behind Quantum of Solace was to expose the corporation behind her boyfriends kidnap and death. He was engaged in this movie for that reason and reasons of MI6. I agree that the acting in Quantum of Solace wasn't as engaging as Casino Royale. But it's still a wonderful movie.

It tells of his plans for the money for his young daughter whom he nick-named 'His little Octopussy(cat)'. He stusied Octopods. Bond then enters & informs him the jigs up. Bond then leaves a WaltherPPK behind--Get the idea?.
