It never came out that they were innocent. They pleaded guilty, and time served they were released. As for Marilyn Manson, what a douche. It was not only Echols, it was also two other guys. These guys were not convicted for wearing black or listening to metal. They were convicted by 2 seperate juries. Most likely they did commit this crime, but there was not alot of physical evidence. They should not have gone to jail. But my gut says they did it.
