I went to my TRU yesterday, and found the comic versions for $14.99. I might pick some up.

Is it only my Toys R Us, or TRUs are getting damn expensive in prices?

@actionfigcollecter: Yeah, I dunno if you ever had KB Toys stores there, but it used to be they had the inflated prices on toys. Now that KB is gone, it's like TRU has taken their place with inflating prices on toys.

@actionfigcollecter: Well even though the regular toys were marked up, they had a lot of stuff the other stores didn't carry, plus they had a lot of stuff on clearance. I shopped at KB a lot when they were still around.

@GearsOfWarAnimations: Try watching the cartoon on Cartoon Network. They're good figures, but I think mostly if you're a fan of Thundercats. If I hadn't grown up on the original 80's cartoon and loved the new cartoon, I probably wouldn't be interested in the toys.

@GearsOfWarAnimations: Yeah, I recommend seeing if you can find episodes of the new series online. I think even if you didn't see the original, you might like, it's really good. I was really impressed with it, if I wasn't I wouldn't collect the toys (I'm not about Nostalgia).

The figures themselves are pretty good. I have the whole first wave of regular figures, and one deluxe.

By the way, I completed my set of the first wave Thundercats figures, I'll have to show them off with the Thundertank. ;-)

@SteveSabbai: The line is in 5" scale. MSRP on them is about $16, but TRU marks 'em up like 3 bucks. Even though 16 bucks is still pretty high for them, especially for the size. They're damn cool though.
