  • This guitar is now up for auction on Ebay!

  • Nice spider you have in your hands.

  • How do you do that slide thing at the beginning? :O

  • @NFSPlay3r

Don't really know how to answer that! Guess you can see how I do it! It's a pick scrape, just run edge of pick down strings (work's best on the bass/wound strings).

  • Where did u get your guitar??!! i want one just like it!

  • @TheSuperModders

    I'm selling!

  • @DrSlackBladder how much ???

  • @Destroyerrrrrr06

    I'll auction on Ebay.

  • Y U NO USE YOUR PINKY!!

  • @gastonsnaider93 The pinky finger it's needed for Shredd.. But not to play songs..

  • Show off! Only joking that was epic!

  • Fuck yeah bro. Kevin Bond V ftw

  • use a backing track -.-

  • I want that V!!!! Nice cover

  • Subbed, this is amazing man.

  • You can't hide Ghost of Randy Rhoads ¬¬

  • good cover

  • I have a Fender Stratocaster, the "V" guitars have some big difference?

  • @Caiosniper1

Loads if differences. Apart from the obvious, most Strats have single coil pickups; most V shaped guitars are intended for rock and metal, so have twin coil humbuckers for a higher output and very different tone. Then there are additional tonal differences due to woods and construction, very different feel (I can't play strats), and image.

  • @DrSlackBladder Thank you for the information, your answered exactly what I wanted

  • nice cover:).btw ur hand looks like a snake from 0:19 to 0:30

  • sick inlays :D

  • I taught myself guitar...so how long do you think it'll take me to learn this song? I plan on doing it for pep band or something.

  • nice dude!!!!

  • Fantastic job it may not be one of the more difficult songs but i love randy for how he made his guitar sing it takes a real guitarist at heart o do that

  • i want pentagram frets

  • damm you are good

  • Take that Randy!

  • Great cover, better than the amount of justice i can do for this piece, just that i have a constructive comment, i noticed that you tapped once for the 7-9-14 7-9-14 part. it sounds fuller when played 7-9-9-14. Maybe you already know that, Great job on the cover!

  • you and musicman1066 should start a band

  • More like Dr. Strange the Sorceror Supreme of Guitars! Just awesome!

  • awsome cover man, hey i hope you dont mind me asking but why do you use your 4th finger on the intro for the 4th fret on the a string, awsome job

  • @monkeybutlers1234

Thanks. I don't know, it just works for me.

  • this guy needs more views! hes got lots of damn good covers !

  • 21 person is in ghost train...lol

  • 21 persons didn´t take the crazy train!!

  • Good job, a lot of help!! Parting together my first RR and thought I should learn the song!!

  • KICK ASS!

  • @musicbearr

Currently just two; the Kevin Bond Signature and the RR5.

  • Choice man! I hung in there to see the solo. It's missin a few notes but your really freekin good non-the-less.

  • Sick Guitar

  • 21 people cant even pick right

  • your best cover dude u rock whats better a jackson king v,kelly,or rhoads

  • @dzguitar530

Thanks. V, Rhoads or Kelly; whichever feels best to play! Kelly has extra two frets and is not quite so neck heavy. I find Vs and Rhoads most comfortable to play sitting down, but it's a very different position to a more regular shape. Try before you buy!

  • God job overall mate but I can't help to notice that there's something odd about the way you play the intro riff. I play it all with down strokes and I use my little finger to reach the 5th fret. I'm just suggesting !

  • I can't remember if I've commented on this vid already: BCUZ I've watched it SOOOO many times!!! That should tell you what I think of it! VERY WELL DONE!! I wish I could play that good. You make everything you do look so EASY. I've bookmarked several of your videos because I study them....not to 'sharpshoot' you - but to LEARN! I'm a BIG FAN!!

  • Hello , you are indeed one of the best guitarists i have ever seen. I am also considering learning the guitar. Do you honestly think that lessons would be important or would online videos(youtube etc)lessons would work just fine, please keep in mind that i am a beginner and have no experience in the guitar, but i am indeed willing and able to learn.(P.S i am left handed).=)

  • @saadtariq12345 I've been playing for about 9 months now and I jumped straight into lessons. I believe it helped me progress significantly faster than I would have without them because the teacher was there to critique any mistakes I made and made it that much easier to identify and correct them so that I could play better.

In my opinion, lessons help. A lot.

  • When I watch this, I'm watching it with a grin, coz of being in your band, mate. I can't smile wide enough ... :-)

  • @ChromeDrifter71

One of the best comments I've had; cheers mate and welcome to the band!

  • your good, but have no emotion when you play.. you look so stiff..and with this music you need emotion in it..

also take your pinky off the guitar bro..hate seeing that lol

  • @trevor502dean no offence mate, but I have the advantage of practising with this guy in the band regularly so I can see first hand that a lack of emotion is something he really doesn't suffer from ... maybe it's because he's trying to keep the guitar angled at the camera that makes him look stiff, coz the bugger doesn't stop moving at rehearsals!! :-)

  • @trevor502dean

A lot of people play with their pinky on the guitar.

  • he didnt play the intro

  • veddy nice

  • Man, I have visited all of your covers, and I had love them, ist incredible that I practice my covers watching yours, very good, you play really good :)

  • good morning from france.

They are, yes. Mother of pearl pentagrams in an ebony fretboard.

  • nice ! ;]

check my version of crazy train ;]

  • Not Randy Rhoads!!! Fuck!!!

  • How long did it take you to learn this song? I'm just beginning trying to play it.

  • @steventb24

An hour or so each evening for a couple of weeks. Good luck!

  • @DrSlackBladder I figured something like that. Thanks for replying man. I have only been playing guitar for 25 days and it only took me a day to learn to intro riff.

  • again from you great job i decided to give this a go and its not fun alot tougher than any metallica stuff i learned , im only plaing a year , you reckon i should leave this one for awhile or should i push for it ??

  • @H20Sparda

Thanks. Why not push to get the rhythm parts then work on the lead fills as a longer term project while you build dexterity and learn some other pieces!? Goog luck!

  • @H20Sparda This is the first song i learned just keep playing the lines till u get em right

  • i could give an lung for that guitar

  • the strings are so sexy wat kind are they

  • @killaZ8o8

    ??? They're D'Addario 10-46 XL

  • Do you Prefer this guitar over the Jackson RR5 and is it really worth the extra money? Also what are both guitars like sitting down wise?

    Cheers

  • @LongboardingFox

I love both; the Kevon Bond is a one-trick-pony, it does metal very well. The RR5 is more versatile having both bridge and neck pickups. Both are the same sitting down; I ind them more comfortable than conventional shapes.

  • fucking sick

  • Flying V is the Best Guitar Design Ever Made.

  • Awesome- seriously great

  • I fucking love the neck of your guitar.

What kind of pick ups do you have?

  • @soatbfs

Seymour Duncan Iommi twin rail humbucker in this one.

  • what kind of inlays are those

  • @slemsven01

    Mother of pearl pentagrams.

  • \m/

  • what kind of strings do you use the look good

  • @Teebonesky

    D'Addario 9-46 on this guitar.

  • @Teebonesky

    D'Addario 9-46 on this guitar.

  • nice guitar

  • I'll trade you my kidney for your left hand.

  • @Bertziethegreat Nice ;) haha, I'll have to remember that! Good job by the way :)

  • @Bertziethegreat even for his right hand

  • Tocas muy bien y muy claro. Te felizito

  • hey i have trouble playing the alternate picking that goes in between the chords. any advise

  • @ACDC6561

Practice VERY slow with a metronome (free one online is fine) until PERFECT, then increase speed a little and practice until PERFECT, and so on. Increasing before PERFECT will teach bad habits and sloppy playing. This techniqie works!

  • nice

  • good one man, you need to work a bit on fills and the solo though

  • hey can you make an cover of the day that never comes - metallica?, this song is awesome!

  • jst got the same guitar yesterday..and this guitar is just perfect for heavy kinda music..

  • Nice Guitar..I'm jealous!

  • You use jazz III 1.3mm?

I used the jazz III since i started playing on the electric but now i bought a dunlop tortex .88mm about the same size as the Jazz III believe me it's way better. Try one if you can

  • awesome cover keep shredding

  • awsome cover dude, yours is a little cleaner than mine :P :)

i like the guitar, how much do they cost? im thinkin bout buyin myself a new axe :P

  • greaet cover

but there is somthing with the intro ..

    idk

    5*

  • thats cool man ::

SO any new covers coming up

  • @gamerchannel221

    More covers coming soon; promise!

  • how thick ur picks are? i've been using like 0.60mm pick ups and im just curious coz im btriyng to improve my techique

  • @Sl4y3r0fN00bs

For all my YouTube covers I used 1 mm teardrop picks; I've just changed to 1.3 mm Jazz III.

  • @Sl4y3r0fN00bs 1.35mm is the way to go =)

  • all your guitars are the same are they jacksons cause when i went to the guitar shop today i saw a guitar that looked like yours

  • @gamerchannel221

They're all Jackson Rhoads for the videos I've made so far, but they're not all the same model. I recently sold the RR3 and bought an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, so I'm adding some variety slowly!

  • very good mate,i csn hear you guitar playing and the cd player at the same time ,i could hear your player because of timeingwas slightly different but ,your fucking awsome, good job , 10/10

  • OMG...........Flying V >_>

  • Dude, you are my new hero

  • yeah!!! this is the style

  • hmm. all i hear is ur radio.

  • @raceboy171

No, you don't; you hear me playing very close to the original guitar part. It becomes obvious that it's me you're hearing when there are differences; first one being Randy's natural harmonics a beat earlier than mine at 1:11. Check out some of my other covers if you're not convinced!

  • Great man randy rhoads will look on above proudly. Check my version

  • Do you play the fifth string normally?

  • do you have compression on?

  • @Benderbot50

    No, no effects at all.

  • Im not sure if you can help me, but whenever i try to do the chords, it doesnt sound right out of my amp. ive messed with the settings on my amp but it just sounds like shit.... any advise please? i have a dean vx with dual zebra humbucker pickups. and red devil dr strings.

  • @Obsolation

How exactly does it sound shit; buzzing, lack of clarity, wrong notes....open or barre chords? Valve or solid-state amp? Effects? Is it perfectly in tune using a chromatic tuner? Check guitar's intonation. Open chords sound bad on dirty channels of solid-state amps, or if you use digital distortion. Even full barre chords sound bad with high levels of digital gain. Is action too high causing strings out of tune when your fret. Action too low and/or neck warped causing fret buzz?

  • @DrSlackBladder It cant be the strings or the tune because i get those professionally done :P I think it is my amp. (Behringer 30 watt) I think it buzzes too much or something. Would high gain be a problem?

  • @Obsolation

If it sound ok on a clean channel, yes. It is solidstate or valve?

  • @DrSlackBladder Solidstate.

  • @Obsolation

Solid state digital distortion will always sound harsh with full, and especially open, chords.

  • @DrSlackBladder Okay, sorry to bother you and thank you for your time :D it is starting to sound better, i started changing things on my amp like you said to.... and nice covers, your really inspirational :D

  • Nice Job Bro!

  • SOLO WAS SPOT ON PERFECT!!!!

    Just wondering

    1. what guage strings do you use?

    2. did you swap in new tubes in your valveking?

    3. What is the exact model of your celestion speaker?

  • @12121212wwq

    Thanks.

    1. 10-46 strings usually

    2. No, stock tubes, never reaplced.

    3. For this cover, stock Valveking speaker. For covers including and after my Holier Than Thou, the speaker was a Celestion G12T-75.

  • one of my favorite songs

  • is that a scalloped neck? prolly not...

  • @56sk8erboi46

    No.

  • @DrSlackBladder scuse me but how much was that guitar for?I want one like that!!! its small and my size kinda

  • @tito1rocks

It cost about USD1000. This model is no longer in production, although there are plenty of Rhoads models still produced. It's not that small; it's quite light because of the low body mass, but scale length is usual Jackson and larger than Gibson.

  • como consiges las nota guitar pro????

  • @pachmusic

I use GuitarPro now, but at the time I learnt this I used standard tab from ultimateguitar website.

  • what is this trickery????? ahaha nice cover and nice axe

  • cool i got the same amp

  • man your thumb needs some resting, but good cover.
