  • im going to learn animation but my big question is...Can i do animation even though i don't have talent in drawing?

  • @welhim16 Short answer is, yes. Long answer is, Yeeeeeeesssssss :P Animation is a skill just like anything else, gets better with practice. Drawing is a different skill/talent, altogether... unless you have to animate in 2d.

  • Hey man how would you like to work for a professional game development team of 25? If you are interested email me @ m.meyer@vxtream.com

  • So what ? Model is sucks !

  • lol 0:05

  • fail

  • lol

  • Modelviewer doesn't work to me.. maybe cuz I use linux.. But almost everything works over "wine"

  • what you made it in?

  • @gibbelitokevin Lightwave, I use Modo most of the time now.

  • lol i like how he falls

  • with what program you made this it rulz...btw keep up practising you can achieve many things :)

  • lol the orc failed :P

  • where did he go ? xD

  • World of Warcraft, 2 rogues, and a shitload of parkour....

  • Wobble wobble

  • 00:25

    Hell yeah, I-- DAAAAMMMMMNN!

  • by the looks of it, this was made with autodesk 3DS max, am i right?

if so..what did you use to rig your model?

  • Nice

  • rofl, nice :P

  • wow, really good!

  • which program did u used?

  • 0:05 - 0:08 epic moves :D :D :D

  • blizzard is using keyframes, which do not show up like this in the viewport so it must be at least self rigged!

and it by no means look like the real wow grunt (a lot too desaturated), wich doesnt mean its bad!

in fact i really like it!

  • @xxXm0RpH3usXxx Well it does to me, but that doesn't mean its a ripoff now, I understand. But damn dude, nice skill

But still, what's up with those circles and lines next to the grunt? It's the first time i seen them.

I do my animation with bones and keyframes, but i never use that kind of lines, that's why I really want to know what they do.

  • @TheFirstLatvianBoy

I didnt mean destaturated, but muhc too bright actually^^

These are trajectory lines, just look it up in either the max description or online!

This is nothing special, but used with every keyframe animation, u just never made them appear ;)

The other stuff is helpers, making rigging much more fluent and selecting much easier...

    Its all not rendered!

  • looks like you exported it from wow or wc3. cus the modelling tricks are used same as blizzard... but it's just a theory ^^

  • @TheFirstLatvianBoy Nope, modeled and painted by me, fact I have a tutorial showing how to model him on 3dtotal.

  • Wow, i'm surprised.. Well done, cause i see it's low poly and still looks awesome. Seems like you are on the same modelling level what blizzard has. Well done.

But I do have another question. What's that weird animation technique? Really, please can you tell something about that?

  • @new2lw

YO! can you give me a link! i would like to see it. 5 stars

  • @TheFirstLatvianBoy I know people with 3D animation degrees and i can tell you, after seeing their rigs for the last four years, yes this is an original rig, not an exported one from the WOW Model viewer.

@new2lw This is awesome. XD I love how he falls at the end though, rather than stick the landing.

  • Lol that was brilliant, funny how he falls over.

  • had to strench at the biggining lol

  • wow!

  • veryyyyyy GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

  • Bwahahaha! funny ending.

  • Skillz!

  • what

  • Is that a rhetorical question?

  • more like a question stating "awesome"

  • @new2lw I believe you mean retarded.

  • rofl

  • lolwut 5stars

  • Could u send me this model please making mmeorg game with realm crafter pro.. and like your model... u will get a special key when done (:

  • lolzz nice and awesome again lolzz and thanks for the nice videos butt! don't forget lolzz

  • Really nice model! I love it. I had to leave my job with Activision because they switched softwares from Maya to 3dsMax and I didn't have time to learn it because I was also teaching at the time. Really want to get back to learning some Max as I hear skinning(wieghting) in Max is much easier due to envelopes.

  • lmao great job..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha epic young wee then he fall

  • nice rig.. did you make the model too?

  • YUP you did. just read the more info.. really nice job there

  • very cool
