Stratovarius is such an awesome band with a great discography. They started with dark progressive songs and Tolkki was a superb singer and guitar player. Then with Timo K. the band changed its style to hopeful lyrics with great doublebass parts. Then in 2008 Tolkki left the band, but it's still so awesome, they have 13 albums now and I love almost all (I don't rly like their 11th album "Stratovarius" that much, but it's a question of taste). Thank you Stratovarius for making such great music. <3

I find them much better than the last three shitty albums from the Tolkki era, however I think it was a need for Tolkki to leave the band, Strato sounds much better than what he was doing with the band in the last three albums and now he's doing a greater job with Symphonia, both bands sound amazing!!

Very nice artwork Anni Karvinen and the song is one of the best in this awesome stunning album and the part which starts in 2:49 is a massage for ears and darn it's uber goodie =) I just hope that such failure album like the self titled wouldn't even been done and instead start to create Polaris with current members. Very nice that spirits were watching after Jörg and he beat down the cancer down to millions of pieces under his feet that do excellent work behind drumset :P

Rhapsody not the same... You serious?! Have you heard their newest long song The Cold Embrace of Fear? That is the most epic song I've ever heard from that band. It has so many different melodies and such an epic story that it beats all their old stuff by a long shot.

I really like this album. The bass can be heard more clearly in the songs, the drumming and guitar riffs are more powerful and the solos are more technical. Also, I think Kotipelto's singing is slightly better than on Polaris.
