If your com will only run at low/ medium yea it will run but not brilliant...This game has to be played full spec to really get the most of what is a eye candy extravaganza, even the grass looks good in proper high spec

There are still console fan boys out there who still argue that their console is more powerful than the PC. When this game on Medium settings is prettier than any console game released, And there are still 2 more levels of over all detail that you can go up in to make the game even prettier. Good stuff man, and i always wanted the X1900XT series graphics card, but i never ended up building a PC up until recently. Now i have Intel Quad Core,Dual 8800GT's SuperClocked then overclocked etc etc.

i would recommend this card , i have a xtx1900 512mb and it has served me well. with 2 gig of ram and a 3800 duel core . you could build a system like that for the price of a ps3 and a few games. im upgrading to a phenom 9600cpu based rig soon but i will keep the xtx1900 graphics card for a while yet because i only have a 17inch lcd and at those resolutions the 1900 is still able to run the newest games on high , its a great card for money and still better then average after all this time.

What you're forgetting however, is that this has been dubbed using windows movie maker, and is running at a much lower bitrate, so a MASSIVE amount of quality has been lost.

The PS3 uses a souped up 7800 GTX, so the chances are that using an 8800 and cranking everything to max will own the ps3 :P

wrong!!! a 512mb 8800GT (only slightly slower than the GTX) can be had for as little as 200 bucks on newegg, thats less than a Wii!!!

To Run at maximum there's no PC that can play it really well.

To run at low you can play even on a Nvidia 6200 or Ati Radeon 9800PRO.

If you want to play at maximum, wait for the new cards that will be launched at February 2008.

Just to clear things up, there are machines that play Crysis on maximum. 1280 × 1024 res 50 to 60 fps avg. Check my video i made just for you to see.With settings proof and all :O)

1024x768 , yes, The core and memory clocks were about 688/792.

I tried the demo on a X2 4800 @2.6ghz, 1GB ram, and x1900 crossfire setup, and the demo was playable at 1440x900. Can't remember other settings, sorry. Another gig of mem would be helpful, to an extent, but I'm sure the drivers could use some help as well. A 7900 GTX certainly has a chance, but the rest of the system needs to be decent as well!
