i agree with bostoncathy, but also keeping in mind that this is one of their more popular singles, they most likely play it very often. imagine playing the same song over and over. you'd want to improv it a bit now and then. and also it shows diff sides of the song. art is a reflection of the artists surroundings. over time it changes.

The live shows are FAR better than anything done on an album. It's live. There are musical variations that take place, which shows musical talent. YOu have to have an appreciation for what they're doing up there on stage. All those different versions aren't even rehearsed or set up before they go on. Adam just breaks off and the band has to keep up. Impressive if you ask me. And for whoever is looking for sing-along-songs, my little bro has a couple of Disney Sing Along DVD's you can borrow.

if you prefer to sing along to songs at concerts, buy sing-along-song band's albums and go to sing-along-song band's shows...but you'll be hanging with 13-year-olds mostly...Durtiz's genius is his ability to inprovise and expand upon the great songs he's already penned...

I love these guys, but Adam tries to hard live. When I go to a show, I like to sing along. Adam changes things too much. I walked out of their live show because of that.

Then you aren't a true CC fan. That is what is so great about CC - is the fact that they CAN modify their songs and it sounds just as great as the original. Every show you go to, you will get a different version. You just don't know great music when you hear it. Good thing you left ;)
