screen presence yes, but nobody ever filled the screen with a physical aura like Lancaster look at him say in Valdez is coming how he leaps around so gracefully and then settles over his rifle so powerfully shooting at a one thousand yards or breaking the beer bottle in From Here to Eternity
that said however let me suggest Lancaster was not so subtle an actor
as Bronson in many respect Bronson WAS the better actor
@CT2507 I watched Death Wish 3 last night on tv. He was pretty wooden there. I suggest the Magnicent Seven and The Great Escape. He is absolutley amazing in those films. Can't speak for many other films of his as I haven't seen them but it seems to me given a halfway decent script Bronson would shine.
Two of the thugs getting their behinds kicked by Bronson's character in the scenes are played by Rob Englund&Jeff Goldblum...pay close attention and you folks will notice them.
Interviews with Charles Bronson are few and far between. He was the most private actor I've come across thus far. He apparently didn't like to do talk shows. I can't find even one on youtube.
False title. It says "Bronson interviewed" but this was a feature about Bronson, not an interview. He said a dozen words on camera, and that's it. Kind of like his characters.
They touched on an important thing, 'physical actor' Bronson in this regard was oen of the best. Probably only Robert Mitchum was as good at this aspect of acting.
His greatest role as a physical actor IMO is 'Hard Times' watch Bronson's presence & acting style...it's almost ZEN like.
remind me of viggo mortenson for some reason. charles woulda kicked ass in eastern promises

This is why i love Charles Bronson. No stuntman allowed. Just like 2 other favorites of mine Buster Keaton And Jackie Chan.

An actor who was convincing in the action genre without any of the cartoony b.s. that permeates the "tough guy" genre.

"charles bronson a superstar" hahaha!! what utter crap. he made a couple of shitty movies and then dissapeared from the scene, cause he couldnt act.

There will never be another Bronson. Dangling from an elevator 12 stories up?!
