@tercoil nope, save your money i bought 2 and they both broke very quickly for no real reason. save up and get pioneers or american audio. stanton is shit. good luck.
Yo i want 2 tell every 1 not 2 waste any money on damn Stanton C.324 i AM MAD AS HELL I PAID $1500 FOR THE WHOLE SET AND IT IS A WASTE IF IT DONT WANT 2 READ DISC ITS THE JOG WHEEL IF ITS NOT THE JOG WHEEL ITS THE PITCH I SENT MY SHIT BACK 2 THE COMPANY LIKE 5 TIMES AND IT STILL FUCKS UP
omg this video is getting me so fucking excitedddddddd!!!!!!
im currently saving up for two of these (or maybe one and a pio cdj800) and this looping feature is so sick! this is exactly what i like to do with my kaossilator and kaoss pad 3, and now i can do it on the fly with my music! i always thought of plugging my music into the kaoss pad and sampling it but this is wayyyy easier!
if you turn up the sensitivity on the touch rewind with the two twisty knobs on the left and right of the lcd screen you can stop the track when your hand isnt touching the platter its really sensitive my hand was at least 2 inches off the platter when i tried this
I own 2 of the c324's and have mixed feelings. I am a new dj and have been learning on these and learned a great deal, but I have eject issues, freezing issues and the just look too clumsy. Having said that I still use them and plan to give them to my son who has just got into djing as well. GREAT learner kit, not so reliable, good for mobile dj, club/bar? wouldnt take the chance.
oh man i just got a pair of these, to start dj'ing are these decks ok because i just paid £800 for a set withy mixer and i dont want my money to go to waste! i always get shit that breaks
I bought these because of the production features. I use a standard rack mount for performance but use these 2 at home for creating mixes. The fact that you can not adjust the volume of your samples and efx sucks. I am forced to play the sample on the slave deck so I can manipulate volume on mixer. Flanger and phaser together sound like a static mess and phaser never really fades out, you have to couple with flngr and then cancel out phsr then flngr as flngr is more managable. I wish I bot 1200s
do you recommend these for a dj who djs every 3 months or so? i have only a mixer which i use with virtual dj, i really want to get some cdj's, however i'm on a tight budget. what do you think?
I tested it when it just came out, and it's one of the most creative decks out there, at least Stanton came out with something different that can appeal to some people, you can also has an integrated sequencer for the pads so you can program them to play automatically on a given order, and the touch sensitive platter is better than most cd turntables,I would say second only to pioneer, on the downside the buttons feel like sponges really awkward feeling and the thing is by now a little outdated
I had the predecessor model 304. Had all the same features as high priced models, but didn't read mp3 discs like the newer decks. Guitar Center has some limited edition red ones that look pretty sweet. After a while though one of the decks stopped reading cd's. Hopefully newer models have improved on this problem.
J! If you get a chance to get ahold of some Denon DN-S3700's you should do a tutorial of them! I just purchased them and have been impressed so far. Would love to know what you thought!
