Turns out board was semi faulty. After a week of normal gaming (i didn't want to push it up to 95 any more) it died, and i sent it in for rma. I got a replacement from rma and i haven't seen it go above 75*c on the reference cooler, overclocked by about 10%. I also got a much better cpu and ram on a new motherboard.
