How to get Music onto Xbox 360 hard drive (updated 9/28/10)

I've used Windows Media Player to burn all my music to cds and I was able to rip em to my xbox without a problem.

You can rip ANY cd with .wav files...... I've copied music onto my slim/kinect system from all types of discs: CD's, CDR's, CDRW's...... been able to do this for ages.

Now how to copy from a flash drive to the main xbox hard drive? The flash player allows you to plugin and play/steam the music on it, but no playlists or saving to another drive.  Angering.

For those who say it doesn't work on the newer version, there will be a something labeled "edit options" above the "burn your cd" button. The CD text can be added there.

I have a PS3 and Xbox and for transfering stuff onto either console I choose PS3. The Xbox is a little more confortable. I think I'll stick to listening to music on my laptop while playing ;)

the way you have to copy music to your 360 is redicoulous my ps3 does a better job at that and you can actually stream the hardrives too so you can copy music, videos and pictures easily or just copy em to a usb flash drive and transfer em over
