ADVICE TO ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF TAKING UP BUDDISM!
Every human is born with dignity! And you have the right to keep that. Don't end up walking the streets of Asia barefoot, begging for food, and kissing the feet of monks!
First they will tell monkhood is not necessary. But eventually they will tell to reach the mythical enlightment u have to become one
There is a purpose of our lives! Islam is the only way for success in the life after death. Look past the negative stereotypes
they arent theravada monks, they are mendicant sect monks, a special way foundet in viet nam by To Su Minh Dang Quang. they wear clothes like theravada monks, walk barefeet and go on almwalk in the morning but they dont eat meat, follow the mahayana teachings and their main practice is pureland buddhism.
They seems to be Theravada monks from vietnamese tradition. I'm sure that they are vietnamese by the clothes(áo dài) of the devotees and the temple's name.
Beautiful video, thankyou for sharing this with the You Tube community. I've also uploaded, on my channel, two video slideshows to Buddhist Monks reciting important daily chants and prayers in Pali and in English. Monastic traditions are beautiful in any culture Thanks again
The video does not do any justice to the actual event, procession of the monks along the sides of the street. They were so peaceful with a formal manner, a very beautiful sight. Truly wonderful individuals dedicated to peace, love and harmony within nature.

Procession is more of a Catholic term and doesn't really suit here.
This is a video showing Buddhist monks going on alms round.

Buddha advised every Buddhist to keep 5 precepts as that is our protection.
1) Abstain from Killing Living Beings
2) Abstain from From Stealing
3) Abstain from Sexual Misconduct (except for married couple)
4) Abstain from Lying
5) Abstain from Intoxicating Drinks and Drugs
When we keep our 5 precepts, we will have less obstacles in life. We'll feel calm and peaceful.

We do not need to be a monk to be enlightened. Enlightenment is a blissful and eternal mental state that can be experienced this life itself.
Enlightenment is much better than going to heaven. At that state, one does not need god any more.
God is not an enlighten being as a god still has greed, anger and delusion
To be enlightened, one has to eradicate greed, anger and delusion
