Empirion will play live for the first time since the mid-nineties THIS WEEK on Friday, November 5th at THE RITZ in MANCHESTER, UK. Oz Morsley and Jamie Smart will be playing new remixes, all the old classics and Kloq / Controlled Change tracks too. The night will remember Bob Glennie who sadly passed away in 2005 after falling ill in 1997. If you are watching this video and are in the UK, see you on Friday night in Manchester! :D For full event information search for 'Empirion' on Facebook.

back in my day (before the kiddies started to label every bloddy thing under the sun) we just called the whole genre Tech-Industrial.
God, was this ever a massive hit at the clubs. Those were good times. Would be nice if you younger skids opened your eyes and got into this music. Wow, what a world you would see. This stuff today is really innocent kids music. Open your eyes!
Emprion are absolutely amazing, they've done some fantastic remixes for various different artists but only ever released one studio album 'advanced technology' the album was released at the same time as prodigy's 'music for a gilted generation' and the main single from AT (narcotic influence) was released the same week as 'poison' thus empirion were consigned to the annals of (awesome artists who never reached a wider audience).
What a freaking awesome mix! I bought the headhunter 2000 cd set but the second cd was actually a completely different band which was pressed by mistake I guess. Might be worth something ;)
@droutsolias man that bring s back memories! Amiga Format magazine covered it as I remember from my mate's house (I was an Amiga Power subscriber myself lol)
I think 242 returned the favour by remixing an Empirion track called Ciao, great mix. Its on the B.E.T.A cd single. couldn't find it here on youtube, sure its out there somewhere, worth a listen if you like this.
GREAT TRACK...AUS bELGIUM!!!

Nice - haven't heard it before! Is it your mix or in fact an Ebb-mix?
ZuntorSWE 3 years ago
Nope, it's an official NE remix.

I'm pretty sure this remix is the (Empirion Remix) on Headhunter 2000... I bought the CD and didn't find no Nitzer Ebb version...
They remixed The Prodigy's Firestarter song too

Ah you're right, I'll change that right away, thankyou.
