The voice acting and storylines are really questionable as well, I'd give it a 3 out of 10 for the nice animation, the rest of it is awful.

i have no problem with any of the character designs in this series. venom looks fantastic its such a shame the series was canceled. big mistake whoever made tht decision. the writers said in the third series they were gona bring in scorpion, hobgoblin and carnage 3 awesome villians who wud hav done well in this awesome series.

Especially punching point blank on spidey's face and using his own black costume to whirl and swing spiderman to the ground xP.

In 1994, Venom and Carnage threw tanks in . I must admit the ability of having a second mouth never happened in TAS, but happens thousands of times in the Ultimate Spiderman comics.

The designs are one thing that bothered many people, however the story, plot, characters, morals, fluid animation, and UNCESORSHIP can grow to anyone's liking :P. Actually what is impressive about this series is that they implemented the best of both the comic elements and the movies x3. Never felt really dumb-downed moments.

@elpela2099 Venom was much more sinister and actually came closer to acomplishing his goal here. What he almosr did would have not only drained Peter of his powers, but also put him and everyone who's close to him at the mercy of the criminal empire. Now THAT'S how you ruin a masked superhero's life.

In the 90s show all he did was just chase Peter around. I do admit his voice was better there.

Pretty much all the drama in the series comes from something or other that Connors messed up, and the total property damage at this point must hover in the range of billions of dollars, notably including a unique, alien lifeform of unknown potential.

the symbiote i think is rejecting brock cause the cleanser was meant for people with specific genes (mutated) and the cleanser was instead of destroying mutated genes, brock's specific chemicals in the body were set haywire and the symbiote left

@2727Caser No I think since the symbiotes goal in life is to bond to a host upgrade its natural powers and then use its host is what happened. Venom was on Peter first and thats why venom has spider powers just more powerful ones so the gene clenser got rid of all of pete's original DNA and Spider DNA as well, making venom revert back to its original state of alien symbiote so if it bonded again it would not have spider powers and just make basically a strong person with a black suit.

@Stephano217 No ur totally wrong the symbiote didnt get the spider powers from the DNA it just copied the ways to make the webs and all the spider powers cause it copied spidermans spider composition and the face of venom is also from spidermans mask, even the eyes its a little changed but also similar and the logo similiar to the black suit and also it took off cause either its bond with eddies DNA is seperating cause of the gene cleanser or the gene cleanser would destroy it.

@2012smarties I am assuming that the gene cleanser had an effect on the symbiot because of other chemical properties not the fact that it is cleaning the genetic makeup of the host, plus venom is partly bonding with the host and since this is parasitic behavior we can assume that some of the symbiot is inside him and can be knocked out, the symbiot had a reaction to the gene cleanser and was damaged; however we may never know the full effect it had on the symbiot because the show was canceled.
