There are so many reasons this video is funny. The fact that Louis CK could obviously hear Todd explain the joke before doing it, yet still acts surprised. The fact that Louis can say such mean and raunchy things on stage, but acts so absolutely devastated by "Haha, you suck at comedy." There's even humor in the way he says it. "Hahahaha, you're not good at iiiiiiiiiiiiiit."

The reason this video is so successfully humourousful is that it makes the viewer feel superior to Louis C.K. by way of being in the inside the joke of an inside joke of which he is 'unaware'.
